Who We are

Why We Exist

We exist to help people move from where they are to where God wants them to be.

We want to be a people who cares for, welcomes, and supports those around us in such a way that it shines the light of Christ, a beacon of hope, to all we encounter. As a congregation of Believers, we aim to love those in our community with the same love Christ has given us; guiding them towards the Savior in the hopes that they too will be transformed by His gracious love for them.

Our Values

Worship & Study

True worship of God is our primary purpose. However, we believe that as we gather to worship and honor the Lord, our lives are transformed in His presence. Through weekly Bible studies, worship gatherings and Biblical preaching, we grow in our knowledge and love for Him. There, from this position of worshipper, we surrender and discover God’s wonderful plan for a better life, a blessed life, one free from the past hurts and habits that have held us back.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Ministry & Outreach

We are an active church, frequently “hitting the streets” to pass out food, share the Gospel and pray with those we encounter. Believing every Christian is saved and gifted with a divine purpose, every member is encouraged to be involved. Because it’s the anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage, we look to the grace of God and His Gospel to heal the broken hearted (Christian counseling), set the captive free (Addictions ministry), sight to the blind (Healing services), Release to those who are oppressed (Spiritual Warfare) and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor (Restoration Homes)

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10

Missions & Sending

We are a church planting ministry that goes into distraught communities to re-open and restore churches that have been closed. Graduates of our Ministry School are given the opportunity to start another IHM in a new location of their choice. By sending out and supporting fellow Believers with a desire for the great commission, we’ll help these church plants to expand the Kingdom of God, make disciples and share the Gospel to hurting communities around the world. Bringing the hope and freedom found only in Jesus Christ. Restoring churches as God restores the community.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

What We Believe

This is how we view God, Jesus, the Bible, man, and many significant aspects of our faith. Firmly rooted in Scripture, our beliefs guide our decisions as a church.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

The Trinity

God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

The Father

God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

The Son

Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

Man

The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

Salvation

God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

The Church

The Church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

Statement of Faith & Doctrine

The Bible alone is our rule for faith and practice. Our stated beliefs are intended as a basis of unity within our fellowship (1 Corinthians 1:10). These truths are Biblically based and are essential to understanding and functioning according to the full Gospel. However, they are not the full revelation of Scripture but are proposed to keep us from error. Therefore, all members of our fellowship are encouraged to continue to be lifelong students (2 Timothy 2:15) who pursue to Know God more and His plan for mankind and for us as individuals.
